Families Against Cuts to Education – Victoria aims to unite parents, grandparents, teachers, students and other community members to raise public awareness of the impacts of the continuing underfunding of BC public education and to organize as a part of a growing province-wide citizen’s movement for a fully funded public education system that offers quality education to every student regardless of socio-economic, cultural or linguistic background, age, gender or ability.

Families Against Cuts to Education – Nanaimo is a group of parents in the Nanaimo area who have watched our public schools slowly deteriorate over the years, to the point where our children are faced with a school system that no longer provides the necessary funding to ensure a good quality education.

We are standing up to advocate for better funding for our schools so that every child receives the same good quality, fully funded public education. No child’s education should depend on how much their parents can fundraise.
