FACE – Victoria

Families Against Cuts to Education – Victoria aims to unite parents, grandparents, teachers, students and other community members to raise public awareness of the impacts of the continuing underfunding of BC public education and to organize as a part of a growing province-wide citizen’s movement for a fully funded public education system that offers quality education to every student regardless of socio-economic, cultural or linguistic background, age, gender or ability.

FACE – Kelowna and Central Okanagan

Families Against Cuts to Education – Kelowna and Central Okanagan began as a Facebook group created during the teachers labour dispute of 2014 for like minded parents to organize rallies, demonstrations and public shows of support for teachers and public education. After the labor dispute was resolved it became a place to carry on active discussion around the role government, parents, citizens and taxpayers can play in creating a functional public education system for the future.

FACE – Kelowna and Central Okanagan was one of the groups that organized a FACE Rally on April 12, as a chapter of Families Against Cuts to Education.

FACE – Maple Ridge

Families Against Cuts to Education – Maple Ridge is a group of parents, grandparents, educators and citizens who are standing up for better funding for our public schools.

We represent the parents and children in Maple Ridge and surrounding areas who have watched our public schools slowly deteriorate over the years, to the point where our children are faced with a school system that no longer provides the necessary funding to ensure a good quality education.

FACE – Nanaimo

Families Against Cuts to Education – Nanaimo is a group of parents in the Nanaimo area who have watched our public schools slowly deteriorate over the years, to the point where our children are faced with a school system that no longer provides the necessary funding to ensure a good quality education.

We are standing up to advocate for better funding for our schools so that every child receives the same good quality, fully funded public education. No child’s education should depend on how much their parents can fundraise.

FACE – Vancouver

Families Against Cuts to Education (FACE) – Vancouver is active throughout the Lower Mainland with members from municipalities across Greater Vancouver.
