Families Against Cuts to Education – Kelowna and Central Okanagan began as a Facebook group created during the teachers labour dispute of 2014 for like minded parents to organize rallies, demonstrations and public shows of support for teachers and public education. After the labor dispute was resolved it became a place to carry on active discussion around the role government, parents, citizens and taxpayers can play in creating a functional public education system for the future.
FACE – Kelowna and Central Okanagan was one of the groups that organized a FACE Rally on April 12, as a chapter of Families Against Cuts to Education.

FACE (Families Against Cuts to Education) groups are being formed across the province, and once formed locally we will unite together and become a province-wide group that our government will not be able to ignore.
